Tour of Tuscany
Duration: 3 nights/ 4 days
This tour offers you the possibility to visit one of Italy's most famous cities and experience the charm of the Mediterranean’s most unique stretch of coastline.
1st day:
Arrival to Pisa airport before 4pm for a comfortable transfer by train or by bus to the Cinque Terre where you will be staying for 3 nights.
2nd day:
Self-guided itinerary to discover the unique and beautiful Cinque Terre. Visit each of the 5 picturesque villages of this most famous coast - Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Choose to travel between villages by train, boat or on foot. Train trips between individual villages take about 5 minutes.
- Light and leisurely, independent, self-guided sightseeing itinerary.
3rd day:
Short train trip along the coast to Santa Margherita and Portofino. Optional boat trip from Portofino to Camogli via the beautiful old abbey of San Fruttuoso (not during the winter months). Optional walk up into the Portofino National Park for those who wish to see the beautiful views from the hills above.
- Light and leisurely, independent, self-guided sightseeing itinerary.
4th day:
Time for a final stroll around the village you have been staying in. Morning train back to Pisa and your hotel, situated in the historic centre of Pisa. Afternoon and evening to explore Pisa and visit the Leaning Tower. Independent, self-guided sightseeing itinerary to discover Pisa.
5th day:
Morning and perhaps the afternoon in Pisa, depending on flight departure times. 15 min transfer to Pisa airport for your flight home.

*** The Cinque Terre during July and August, is very hot and busy. Best months to visit are May, June, September, October and April - book at least 4 or more months in advance to secure the best accommodation. The winter months of November to March are generally mild and ideal for those who want empty trails and a wilder, rugged atmosphere.
