Program 1 An itinerary by coach GT and on foot to visit the Classic Monuments of Rome

Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the fountain of the Nayads, our local guide will take on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the column of Marcus Aurelius, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama -seat of the Italian Senate- and Navona square. Passing alongside Castel Saint Angelo our coach will take us to the Basilica of Saint Peter* (visit inside except when there are religious celebrations) where you can admire one of Michelangelo's magnificent works of art , "La Pieta".
Return to your hotel.

Program 2 An itinerary on foot and by GT coaches to discover the Imperial Rome of the Caesars

We drive along the Street of the Imperial Fora arriving at Piazza Venezia with its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and to the unknown soldier, we then continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo from where you will have a fantastic view over the Roman Forum. Our coach will then continue to view the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius before arriving to the Basilica of Saint Paul outside the walls* (visit inside). The tour will be completed with a stop at the imposing Colosseum.

Program 3 An itinerary on foot to discover the treasures of one of the Vatican Museums
Approx. 3 hours - every day morning- Except on Sundays and religious holidays

The tour begins by passing through Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads and following the ancient Aurelian walls which once surrounded the ancient city. On route we will see the famous Borghese Park and the northern gate of the ancient city leading into Piazza del Popolo where you will see an Egyptian obelisk dating back to the time of Ramses II.
Upon arrival at the Vatican Walls your guide will then lead you into the Vatican Museums* taking the beautiful Spiral Staircase and continuing through the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo.
Return to your hotel.

Driving towards our restaurant, our guide will show you some of Rome's beautifully illuminated monuments as the tour "Rome By night". Upon arrival at the Restaurant you will enjoy a typical and traditional Roman dinner, accompanied with music. Enjoy yourselves!!

Traveling down Via Cavour you will arrive at Imperial Foro and the Colosseum, then passing through Piazza Venezia you will see the Monument of Victor Emmanual II. We will continue towards the river Tiber passing the Circus Maximus and the Temple of Vesta before arriving to the Tiberina and passing alongside the Jewish quarter with the big bronze-roofed Synagogue. We will then start our ascent of the Janiculum Hill where we will stop to enjoy the most splendid view of the "eternal city". We then proceed towards the Basilica of Saint Peter, Castel Saint Angelo and the ancient Ara Pacis to see these impressive monuments illuminated in all their glory. Arriving at Piazzale Flaminio you will see the famous Piazza del Popolo, the ancient northern entrance into Rome. Passing then through the beautiful park of Villa Borghese you will enter through the ancient Aurelian walls to arrive on to the legendary Via Veneto, the elegant street of the "Dolce Vita", you then complete the tour by visiting the Trevi Fountain where you will have the chance to throw a coin into the fountain ensuring your return to the Eternal City.
